STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT – IPEDS data

Both graduation and retention data trend is housed in our internal site (access needed – LINK) and is available on demand for relevant approved stakeholders (as needed).

STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOME (SLO) ASSESSMENT

Hollins University uses an internal SharePoint TEAMS site to house SLO related information. Academic Affairs department chairs have access to the site. A link to Qualtrics is used to submit assessment reports. Assessment templates, historical data submission reports, and feedback rubrics are all housed on the site. This site provides a central place to track progress on learning outcomes for the department and the unit as a whole.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSESSMENT

Hollins University is committed to continuous improvement and institutional effectiveness across all administrative support units. It maintains a robust and systematic process for assessing services provided by each unit. The standard template used by all units is housed in SharePoint One Drive. Respective units upload their annual submission to a dedicated folder and is reviewed by their supervisor. Based on the feedback on assessment results, actions to be taken for the upcoming year is established and tracked.

Assessment updates from various units are then channeled through the Vice Presidents and Provost to the President’s Cabinet, aligning administrative units’ work with the institutional mission and informing progress on goals for the strategic plan.
